Bengaluru

12° 58.296' N 77° 35.676' E
1

QUIET SIDE

IISc Campus

13° 1.426' N 77° 34.153' E

My workplace, but it deserves a place here. Old stone, serious trees, and a campus that makes Bengaluru feel slower and smarter at the same time.

Sankey Tank

13° 0.600' N 77° 34.200' E

Best kept for morning walks. Close enough to feel like an extension of the IISc side of town, and calm in that particular Bengaluru way before the city properly wakes up.

Kadu Malleshwara Temple

13° 0.298' N 77° 34.287' E

An old anchor in the middle of the neighborhood. If Malleshwaram has a spiritual center of gravity, this is probably it.

2

EASY EVENINGS

Malleshwaram 8th Cross

12° 59.989' N 77° 34.277' E

One of those Bengaluru stretches that still feels like a neighborhood first and a destination second. Flower sellers, old shops, breakfast spots, temple bells, and enough texture to keep you looking around.

Orion Mall / Lakeside Promenade

13° 0.663' N 77° 33.296' E

An easy fallback plan when you do not want to overthink the evening. Walk a bit, eat something, sit by the water, call it enough.

Dyu Art Cafe, Koramangala

12° 56.246' N 77° 37.059' E

One of the softer corners in Koramangala. Old-bungalow energy, long conversations, and the kind of place that makes an evening feel slower than the city around it.

3

FOOD BREAKS

Pizza 4P's, Indiranagar

12° 58.203' N 77° 38.174' E

Worth crossing the city for. A good reminder that Bengaluru’s cafe-and-dinner culture is not always about speed; sometimes it’s about taking a table seriously and staying a while.

ULO Ice Cream, Indiranagar

12° 58.328' N 77° 38.333' E

An easy dessert stop when you want something cold and a little indulgent without turning it into a whole outing. Good for ending an Indiranagar loop on a lighter note.

CTR, Malleshwaram

12° 59.896' N 77° 34.169' E

For the kind of food break that immediately turns into a proper detour. Benne dosa, old Bengaluru energy, and the sort of place that makes Malleshwaram feel complete.

4

FOR FUN

The Grid, Koramangala

12° 56.072' N 77° 37.595' E

Bowling, bright lights, and the kind of evening that doesn’t need to become a major plan. Good when you want something social and slightly silly after a week that has been too competent.

Crossword, Orion Mall

13° 0.663' N 77° 33.296' E

The stop that makes a quick mall visit take much longer. Good for books, stationery, and leaving with at least one unnecessary thing.

Claytopia, Indiranagar

12° 58.287' N 77° 38.470' E

Slightly nostalgic, slightly chaotic, and more fun than it has any right to be. Good for slow, mildly unserious evenings with your hands occupied.
