some things i believe
- it's important to do things fast
- speed drives discovery; frequent iteration sharpens insights.
- "slow is fake"
- a week is atleast 2% of your project timeline — time matters.
- data tells you what, intuition tells you why
- quant research is a map, qualitative research is the territory
- most insightful data often comes from the outliers, not the averages
- tools shapes the thinking, not the other way around
- figma made us think in rectangles, chatgpt in paragraphs
- business constraints are design constraints
- "make it simple"
- goal isn't to avoid mistakes; it's to find unique solutions
figuring out how to be the best in the room, trying to improve by iterating and perfecting my craft every day — all while keeping in mind the highest quality of work.
the culmination of these three skills is what i strive for in my work and, in my opinion, set me apart from the rest of the crowd.
i like to ship fast. i love solving problems and building things. i am obsessed with servers, design, performance, typography, and software that makes an impact. i learn new things every day to enable me to do what i do better. i build information experiences, non-interface experiences & near-future (speculative) prototypes.
the web is a blank canvas— and i've shipped enough to know what i'm after. still curious enough to not assume i've found it.
