Letter Beta is a mobile app where strangers could anonymously send each other messages of kindness. I built it solo during 2020 lockdown when social media felt more toxic than ever.
The idea was simple: what if we had a digital space designed to spread kindness instead of outrage? Users could write anonymous requests for kindness and reply to others with compassion. No usernames, no profiles, no social pressure.

Before launching publicly, I invited close friends to test the alpha version. Their responses made all those late coding nights worth it:

After 8 months of development, Letter launched on the Amazon Appstore. 2,400+ downloads in the first month, 87% user satisfaction rating, and messages like “This app made me believe in human goodness again.”

Ps. The oceanic color palette and gentle envelope animations still make me smile. Sometimes the simplest interactions create the most meaningful connections.
